Call for Presentations

The AL/MS Section of the American Water Works Association is now accepting abstracts for presentations for the 2017 Annual Conference technical program. Presentations will be limited to 20-25 minutes with 5-10 minutes for questions to be submitted from the audience afterward. Abstracts should include the title, a detailed description of the topic, approximate length (time) of presentation, authors’ names, and short bio for the primary contact. Abstracts should be limited to 500 words or less. The Section plans to place a special emphasis on current and future regulatory changes and operator training so presenters from each of those groups are encouraged to participate. General categories for the technical program include:

·         Finance and Administration

·         Billing and Customer Service

·         Water Resources

·         Surface Water Treatment

·         Groundwater Water Treatment

·         Distribution System Management

·         Water System Security and Disaster Recovery

·         Asset and Data Management Systems
